Create Worship Aids and Music Packets From Any Ordo

The quickest and easiest way to make a print-ready congregational booklet from any prepared Ordo is, first, to use the Role selector and to select a “Congregation” role. These roles will automatically configure every section of your Ordo with either melody or text-only formatting for every section. Next, click “Create Resource” and select your preferred booklet size. Now you’ve created your first booklet, which is ready to be touched up and downloaded for printing.

You can also make a music packet for your musicians from the same Ordo in the same way. Just select a “Choir Member” or “Accompanist” role and create another resource.

You can make as many different resources from a single Ordo as you would like. They are all individually saved within the Ordo, and you can switch between them quickly. Any substantial changes you make to the contents of your Ordo will apply automatically to all of your Resources.

Quickly Edit and Polish Your Resources for Printing

The time-saving formatting settings within Resource Creation will make polishing up your resources for printing a breeze. First, deselect any sections that you do not want to include in your resource in your Outline. They will still remain in your Ordo, but will just be hidden from your resource.

Then, start polishing up your booklet. If any music sections leave a single line of music on the next page, you can increase or decrease the vertical spacing of the section to make it fit perfectly.

If a single line of music begins at the end of a page, you can force a page break to move it to the top of the next page with a single click.

To economize space further in your resources, text verses can be put in two-column format or even hidden if desired.

Similarly, hymns with many verses can be broken up into both fully notated verses and perfectly formatted text-only verses directly below them.

To add a nice visual touch, you can also insert an image or two into your resource.

Make Beautiful Resources From Your Uploaded Files

Making beautiful booklets quickly is not limited to the contents of the native Source & Summit music library. Almost any music graphics that you upload can be added to your booklets just as easily.

First, crop your uploaded image to the right dimensions, eliminating any unneeded margins.

And then, do something that no other document editor can enable you to do: add breaks to your uploaded files so that they break over pages perfectly and automatically, every time!

Crops and Breaks only need to be added once to your files, and they will remain saved for whenever you use them next.

And finally, download your resources. Booklets can be arranged as a print-ready, bi-fold or tri-fold spread.
